FAQS

WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is the Japanese translation of “Universal Life Force”. This historical healing practice dates back to the Japanese and Tibetan cultures, primarily through Master Usui Mikao and his students. Reiki can address any spiritual, physical, mental, and even financial challenge, clearing the way for energy to properly flow where it needs to.

IS REIKI A RELIGION?

Reiki is not a religion. It is a spiritual practice that complements all faiths to promote physical or emotional healing.

WHAT IF I DON’T FEEL ANYTHING IN MY SESSION?

That’s perfectly normal. Everyone has different experiences; for instance, some may see shapes, colors, feel heat, cooling, or even tingling. No need to worry about not feeling anything; the energy is still flowing to where it needs to go.

ARE THERE RISKS TO RECEIVING REIKI OR A READING?

Reiki has not been found to have any adverse effects. Reiki will not override other medical treatment, but instead support the body, mind, and spirit of the patient while he/she goes through them.

A reading is simply working with the client’s energy and their spiritual team, helping achieve clarity and guide them on their life path. There are no harmful risks to this.

Do you choose which loved one comes through during a mediumship session?

No. During a mediumship session, I do not control who steps forward from Spirit. Loved ones come through based on their readiness in addition to your openness, the strength of the connection, and what is most aligned for your healing at that time. I ask clients to remain open and trust that whoever comes forward does so with purpose, love, and intention. If someone steps forward that you don’t want or expect to hear from, but this message is in the highest healing, I ask that you do not shut down as that will tighten the connection.

Can I request a specific person to come through?

You are welcome to share intentions or loved ones you hope to hear from, but there is no guarantee a specific individual will come through. Spirit communication is led by the soul world, not by personal request. Often, the loved one who comes through is the one with the most important message for you in that moment.

What if the message isn’t what I expected or wanted to hear?

Messages from Spirit are always guided by healing, truth, and higher wisdom not personal expectation. Sometimes messages may feel subtle, emotional, or unexpected, but they are always delivered with compassion and divine purpose. Remaining open allows the session to unfold as it is meant to. Some clients have also experienced loved ones coming through who belonged to neighbors, friends, or even individuals they were not especially close with. Spirit works through a window of divine opportunity, bringing forward whoever is most aligned to come through in that moment.

If I book an Angelic Healing or Energy Healing session, will I receive mediumship messages as well?

Not necessarily. Mediumship and energy healing are two separate services. If you book an Angelic Healing, IET, or Reiki & Energy Healing session, the focus is on energetic clearing, balancing, and restoration - not spirit communication. While I’ve had many clients have loved ones share messages during that time that needed it, mediumship is not guaranteed unless you specifically book a mediumship session.

Can I record my session?

You may record your session for personal use only, as long as you ask for permission beforehand. Recording is not permitted for redistribution, teaching, or public sharing without written consent.

Can you connect with spirit on behalf of someone else?

Sessions are intended for the person who booked them. While messages may include others, I do not perform third-party readings without consent or presence, as energetic permission is important.

How often should I book mediumship sessions?

Mediumship is not meant to create dependency. Most clients benefit from spacing sessions out and allowing time for integration, reflection, and healing between appointments. I generally recommend spacing mediumship sessions six months to one year apart. This allows time for integration, healing, and reflection, and honors the natural rhythm of Spirit communication.

Is mediumship aligned with God / Source?

Yes. My work is conducted through prayer, intention, and alignment with Divine Source, love, and the highest good. All sessions are grounded in compassion, integrity, and spiritual responsibility.

What if I am feeling skeptical or anxious?

Skepticism and anxiety are human and do not automatically block Spirit. However, approaching a session with a closed mindset or continuously testing the medium especially after substantial evidence and healing messages are already being brought forward is not recommended. This energy can tighten the connection, limit the depth of the communication, and is considered disrespectful to both Spirit and the sacred nature of the work. Mediumship flows best when there is openness, mutual respect, and trust in the process.

What happens if I am late to my session?

Timeliness is very important. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time and will not be extended. This ensures fairness and respect for my time and for other clients who are scheduled after you.

What is your rescheduling policy?

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule your appointment. I understand that life happens, and I do my best to be compassionate; however, this notice allows me to honor my time and accommodate other clients.

What if I miss my appointment or do not give enough notice?

If you miss your session (no-show) or cancel with last-minute notice, the session will still be charged in full, as that time was reserved exclusively for you. Depending on the circumstance, you may be offered one opportunity to reschedule at my discretion.

Why are boundaries and policies so important in spiritual work?

Strong boundaries create a safe, respectful container that allows Spirit to work clearly and ethically. They support the integrity of the session and honor both practitioner and client.
